8. Driver Safety Responsibilities

Drivers play a critical role in ensuring safe transportation and shall:

  • Hold a valid driving license and applicable permits.
  • Obey all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Wear seat belts at all times.
  • Ensure passengers wear seat belts where applicable.
  • Never operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance.
  • Avoid using mobile phones while driving unless legally permitted with hands-free devices.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Report vehicle defects immediately.
  • Drive defensively and responsibly.

9. Vehicle Safety
